Tabitha Williams is an innovative, strategic and results-oriented talent acquisition and diversity expert who delivers. She is a trusted advisor who is expert at identifying, assessing, and hiring executive and diverse talent.
Her insights are grounded in data, and she provides clients with options that inform hiring decisions, diversity planning, talent management, and succession planning.
Hiring executive and diverse talent has been at the forefront of her work from the time she started working in executive search at Whitehead Mann (now part of Korn Ferry) and carried through to her experience at Merrill Lynch, JPMorgan Chase and Amazon. She advises organizations on how to design and build size appropriate recruiting and sourcing teams, along with coaching and training them how to reach optimal performance.
Tabitha has introduced sourcing and executive search techniques to companies to manage the most technical and challenging to hire roles across corporate functions, technology, and revenue positions. As the Operations and Sourcing Head for JPMorgan Chase’s Advancing Black Leaders team she successfully designed and executed the external sourcing strategy used to identify and hire a record number of Black executives firmwide.
A Message from Tabitha
I fell in love with recruiting the first day I moved into executive search. I had no way of knowing at the time that I would find a career, not just a job, that would combine my interests in research, business, problem solving, understanding skills, and working with clients.
I’ve spent the last twenty years chasing knowledge and learning the intersection between industries and how functions differ from one industry to the next. Though I’ve been majoring in Financial Services and Technology the last few years, in many ways, I’m still the generalist who started in search covering all the practice groups. Those early generalists’ years were the best training I could have had to build a broad network, and learn to be nimble, as I partnered with leaders to build their teams with talent across different industries.
When I moved in-house and started managing recruiting teams my work evolved to include working with talent acquisition teams to be more efficient, and to introduce executive search techniques to sourcing and diverse sourcing activities.
Diverse hiring has been a part of how I have operated from Day 1. For me this means that research and sourcing or identifying and engaging talent should be thorough, grounded in data, and inclusive. I have spent my career supporting businesses, hiring all talent, and providing my clients with market and talent intelligence so they can make informed decisions and know they are hiring the best talent available for a role. Anything less is unacceptable.
I founded Williams Exec Solutions as I think it is time to challenge how we think about and approach diverse sourcing and hiring, and awaken the potential companies have to identify, cultivate and hire all talent.
I’m excited to start this leg of my journey and look forward to working with you.
